Fixed Price* House Plan Survey
SUMO can provide accurate plans of your residential property and its surroundings in a timely and cost effective manner.
Whether for the future redevelopment of your property’s internal space, a renovation project or the addition of a new extension, a SUMO House Plan Survey will provide you with all of the accurate data that you need for your project.
Using the latest Laser Scanning technology, SUMO can accurately capture a room’s dimensions and features within minutes, with minimal time spent on site and minimal disturbance to the occupiers.
Each room will be scanned internally, together with the external surrounds and the processed data delivered to you as an electronic building drawing in a CAD file, or .pdf.
Accurate Elevations and Floor plans, (including one cross section), will allow quick and easy editing to save you time and money.
And all of this can be provided at a fixed price, quickly and efficiently.
SUMO’s Fixed Pricing* starts at a very cost-effective £1,250 for a typical 3 bedroomed house, rising to £1,800 for a typical 4 bedroomed house.
If your property falls outside of the fixed pricing criteria, SUMO will happily offer a bespoke quotation for your specific requirements.
In addition, SUMO can provide a full topographical survey (covering the surrounding land), a utility survey (identifying the services attached to the property) and an aerial survey (of areas at height, which are difficult to access, including the roof) for a modest additional fixed cost.

SUMO will supply fully interconnected plans, showing all main architectural detail, and symbolic representation of all doors, windows, fixtures and fittings. 1 spot level and 1 ceiling height will be provided per room, with other significant changes of level recorded.
All accessible elevations will be drawn and will show all visible roof detail, down pipes, structural openings, and window fenestrations with limited architectural details.
A simple cross-section, cutting the highest point, will also be provided, unless otherwise directed.
Floor Plans will show all floors (excluding roof spaces), showing all architectural features as well as symbolic representations of fixtures and fittings, (toilets, sinks etc.
The survey of roof spaces shall be restricted to only giving an indicative ridge height. This will be obtained by a single scan conducted by extending the scanner into the loft space (where practicable), without going into the loft.
A topographic survey, showing boundaries, front and rear, with full detail limited to 5m around the property is also included.
The survey is conducted on an “as found” basis: we do not move personal possessions or seek access beyond that which the homeowner can provide.
